My story

I graduated as a Chemical Engineer from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom and am a M.B.A from Wales, UK after which I worked as a process engineer at the Guardian Glass Industries, U.K. , Johnson and Johnson Diagnostics (U.K.) and also in the soap Industry. One of my biggest achievements was when I co-authored a research paper on ‘Supply-Chain complexities within the diagnostic industry’, which was published in the International Journal of logistics Management (Berlin, 2011). I am a trustee of the IYEA (Indian Youth Economic Association), that aims to promote education scholarships , MUN debates, and focuses on youth based activities.

I have grown up seeing my dear mother curate dishes that were delicious yet had a high nutritional value and have always followed a spiritual path, led by her, of rising up early, meditating, carrying out the Vedic yajna and eating the ‘sattvik way’. Even when I was studying Engineering, I was always inclined towards understanding how to nourish myself nutritionally and spiritually. I would spend my leisure time in comparing nutritional contents of various foods and updating myself on the latest inventions in food. My passion in health and nutrition ultimately led me to practicing Clinical nutrition and dietetics as my profession after pursuing Post-graduation in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from Maharashtra and further being accredited as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach by the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, U.S.A (IIN). I specialise in obesity and weight control, nutrition for disease management and prevention (pre-diabetics, diabetics, thyroid disorder, liver health, kidney health, bone health and cardiac health), sports nutrition for the youth and teenagers (my utmost specialisation being a mum to a budding footballer) and Bariatric nutrition (certified by Max Hospitals, Delhi). My work as a Clinical Dietician at the Primus super speciality hospital, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi was highly appreciated as I helped bring happiness to hundreds of patients across different age groups and ailments through my diet consultation and customised diet plans for them all.

As a certified Clinical nutritionist, I utilise my research and the latest effective methods to help my clients reach their lifestyle goals smoothly, in a holistic way and help them build a happy relationship with their food. My aim is to communicate regularly with my clients to monitor their progress and motivation levels, so they shift from being nervous, stressed and low-esteemed to being confident, happy and empowered.

What I enjoy the most is ‘children’ – conducting holistic health and nutrition workshops and health talk sessions with organisations, academies and schools to create the ripple effect of health education among children who are the future of the society.
